Fannin Regional Hospital, we practice a philosophy of emergency care called ER+, which helps further our goal that you will receive quality medical care as quickly and professionally as possible.
Fannin Regional Hospital's Level III Emergency Department is ready to serve the Tri-State area's emergency healthcare needs. It is staffed 24-hours-a-day with physicians who are trained in Emergency Medicine. In addition, all of the ER staff have Advanced Cardiac Life Support training and certification.
The ER services approximately 7,000 patients a year and ranks high in patient satisfaction. The state-of-the-art computerized nursing documentation system known as "PROMED" is used in our ER to shorten registration times and ensure accurate information is obtained. The data obtained from this system also gives us valuable information on ways to continually improve the quality of our services.
The ER works closely with the Fannin County EMS to ensure prompt, quality care is given when you have an emergency. With in-house lab, x-ray and respiratory care, you can be assured that you will receive the care you need when you need it. If your condition requires the services of a specialty physician, our ER Physicians have access to the many physicians who see patients on a regular basis in our Out Patient Clinic. These specialties include: Cardiology, Ear Nose and Throat, Urology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Hematology and Oncology. Fannin Regional is also fortunate to have our own full-time physicians who specialize in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Cardiology.
The ER+ Goal
The ER+ goal is for you to have access 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week, to qualified physicians who take the time to listen to what you have to say. You will be greeted warmly by nurses who are truly compassionate and a registration staff that understands that people come before paperwork.
Our team of trained physicians, nurses and technicians are able to provide fast, quality care. They will listen to you, examine you carefully and prescribe a treatment plan that you will understand and believe in.
