Fannin Regional Hospital Named as 'Top Performer on Key Quality Measures' by The Joint Commission for a Fourth Year in a Row
There is a relationship between evidence-based treatments and better health outcomes. Fannin Regional Hospital understands this relationship and we are excelling at providing treatment for Surgical Care and Immunization.
As a result of our exemplary performance in providing these treatments to patients in 2014, today we were named a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in the United States. We were one of only 1,043 hospitals out of more than 3,300 eligible hospitals in the nation to achieve the distinction.
Fannin Regional Hospital was recognized for its achievement on the following accountability measure sets: Surgical Care and Immunization.
This is the fourth year our hospital has been recognized as a Top Performer. Fannin Regional Hospital is especially proud to receive this honor for the fourth time. Previously, we were recognized in 2011, 2012, and 2013 for Pneumonia and Surgical Care. Fannin Regional is one of only 221 hospitals in the nation to have been named a Top Performer four years in a row.
While hospitals such as Fannin Regional are committed to improving performance, recognitions like this do not mean it is time to rest. We regularly review our performance to identify ways we can enhance the care and experience patients have at our hospital. Our patients’ safety is our top priority, and we thank the North Georgia community for entrusting their care to us.
